PERSONAL TECHNIQUE

Minimally Invasive Technique

Laparoscopy is not the only way to be tissue-friendly.

Dr. Sassone has been a surgeon for more than 30 years and has modified her open-technique (when the abdomen is entered through a large incision) to make it as tissue-friendly as possible. With her technique the operatory time is longer, but the internal organs remain moist and warm, the incision margins are not under constant traction, blood loss is minimized, post-operative pain is reduced and recovery is faster.
